Statement
I like to work with a variety of materials, objects from nature, my handmade paper and various dyes and paints. Some times I even sew on the paper. As a weaver and collage artist, texture and natural colors and fibers are my go to palette. The flowers, leaves and twigs are dried and pressed in a traditional method, preserving them for life or added to the paper mulch. The paper is recycled egg cartons, art paper, and various papers from my paper shredder, thus turning old paper into a new material.
